Thirty figure skaters, ages 10 to 22, from all corners of the greater Los Angeles area, form the two-time Senior Division National Championship Los Angeles Ice Theater Team.
The ÒTheater Team,Ó held a command performance for their family members and the media at the Pickwick Ice rink in Burbank before they head to Toulouse, France for the World Theater on Ice Championships on Aril 23-25, 2010.
Unfortunately, the team may miss the competition due to cancelled flights resulting from a recent volcano eruption in Iceland that has created huge clouds of ash and smoke that make air travel difficult. Rescheduling the cancelled flights may prove too costly for the team.
